Dr. Tara Ericson
D.D.S.
Dr. Tara Ericson was born and raised in Western North Carolina, attended college in Chattanooga, TN and traveled to Southern California to attend dental school at Loma Linda School of Dentistry. She has been living and practicing in Knoxville since 2010 and enjoys treating families and patients of all ages.
She has a passion for volunteer work and has traveled the world on Dental/Medical mission trips and volunteers locally at the Volunteer Ministry Center. She loves spending time with her husband Joshua Boaz, a native of East Tennessee, and their beautiful baby Bennett.
Angie
Registered Dental Assistant / Front Office
Angie has been a registered dental assistant since 1989, and with Dr. Desvaux since 2008. She feels that our office is a joy to work for because the staff is like family. Her goal is to provide each patient with individualized care and treat them in a warm & friendly way. When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband & their 2 sons. She also enjoys cooking, traveling, anything outdoors and time with friends.
April
Insurance Coordinator / Front Office
April has worked in the Medical / Dental field since she was 18 years old. She and her husband Shawn have 3 lovely kids, and when she isn't working she loves to spend time at the lake with her family and friends. April also enjoys cooking and appreciates the joys life brings one day at a time. She loves to meet new people and treats each patient with kindness and love as if they were part of her own family.
Brooklynn
Front Office
Brooklynn is a recent graduate of RDA school, newly married, and proud mom to my sweet daughter, Paisley. When she's not working, she loves shopping, going to the beach, and spending quality time with her family. Her passion is to grow in her dental career and make sure people feel comfortable and cared for every step of the way.
Janet
Registered Dental Hygienist
Janet graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. degree in dental hygiene in 1980.
She has practiced hygiene for over 40 years and have been with Dr. Desvaux since 1991. She enjoys forming great personal relationships with her patients, while helping them promote the best oral health possible.
Keeley
Registered Dental Hygienist
Keeley has been in dentistry over 20 years, and with Dr. Desvaux since 2008. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Honors Associate Degree from Roane State. She has experience in everything from fillings, root canals therapy, extractions, crown and bridge, implants, sinus lift surgery, to tissue grafting. She and her husband Wes have 2 kids, Brianna and Christian. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, watching her kids play sports, and singing on the worship team at her church.
Debbie
Registered Dental Hygienist
Debbie was raised in the West hills area. She graduated from East Tennessee State Dental Hygiene Program in 1977 with a Bachelor degree. She strives to help her patients achieve optimal oral health by providing thorough and personalized care. She enjoys church activities, reading,movies, antiquing, long lunches with friends, hanging out with her shih-tizu (Wile E), and also loves finding good deals at TJ Maxx. We are so glad to have her!
Amy
Registered Dental Assistant / Expanded Function CDA
Amy has been in Dentistry for since 1986. She truly enjoys helping restore teeth and giving people their smile back! She is so excited to be a member of this awesome dental family. She and her husband Jimmy have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Outside of the office she enjoys time with family, boxing, motorcycle riding and gardening.
Katie
Registered Dental Assistant
Karen has enjoyed working with Dr. Desvaux for 28 years and serving our family of patients. From an early age, she has had a passion for health care. Growing up in Knoxville, she attended the University of Tennessee and the hygiene school at East Tennessee State where she completed her B.S. degree. After graduation, she and Jim married and raised 3 children. After work, she spends time with family and friends, church, tennis and travel.
